United States Marine Corps
Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF)
Emergency Response Exercise at Washington DC Fire Training Center,
December 5-6, 2017
Human Domain Solutions (HDS), LLC is seeking paid Casualty Role Players (CRP) to participate in an Emergency Response exercise by the Marine Corps Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) from 5-6 December 201 at the Washington DC Fire Training Center at 4600 Shepherd Pkwy SW, Washington D.C. 20032.
The exercise training will simulate an emergency response to a manmade or natural disaster including a structural collapse and nuclear, biological or chemical incident. The Role Players will be moulaged (injury make-up and fake blood) to portray various physical and emotional conditions and go through triage, decontamination, and medical treatment at least 3 times during each day of the exercise. Role Players will be provided cut-away prop clothing and will have injury make-up (moulage) applied in order for the military first responders to evaluate and handle each patient.
This is an excellent opportunity to give back, and show appreciation, for these brave men and women of the Marine Corps. Those who have participated in past disaster response exercises have found it very rewarding: you support this important national and community service and you get paid to have FUN while doing so!
ELIGIBILITY: There is no security clearance requirement, so it is open to all 18 years and above, but criminal background and U.S. employment eligibility checks will be accomplished. Priority will be given to those with previous role playing, acting, military/wounded warrior, or EMT/first responder/disaster response experience. We are also looking for diversity among our CRPs, including gender, ethnicity, age, body types, disabilities, wounded warriors, and foreign language abilities. American Sign Language speakers are also desired. Due to the potentially stressful medical/decontamination processes and possible high fall temperatures, Role Players may not have a life-threatening or serious medical condition. By signing up for this support, Role Players agree to the possibility of random drug testing.
PAY for the exercise is $120 for each 8-hour session or $250 for both.
Session 1 runs from 7:00 PM on Tuesday, 5 December to 0300 AM on 6 December
Session 2 runs from 0700 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, 6 December.
Food and water/soft drinks will also be provided.
